A Two Stage Reciprocating Air Compressor is a reciprocating air compressor which works on the principle of compressing air into two stages. In the first stage, air from the atmosphere is compressed using a big low-pressure cylinder followed by cooling in an intercooler to lower the temperature of the compressed air. Thereafter, the air is compressed once again in a small high-pressure cylinder and finally supplied to the air receiver tank.
